Our Memory Care Program

Care Designed Around How Memory Works

Our memory care program will center on each resident’s personal story. Every resident will receive an individualized care plan, developed with family and healthcare providers and updated as needs change. A consistent daily routine of meals, personal care, and activities will help reduce anxiety and build a sense of stability. Engaging activities like music, art, gentle movement, and sensory stimulation will encourage connection and support cognitive health, while our caregivers will offer patient, respectful help with bathing, dressing, dining, and other daily tasks. Families will stay part of the care team through regular updates and open communication.

Structured Daily Routines

Consistent, predictable schedules will help reduce anxiety and help residents feel grounded and secure.

Therapeutic Activities

Music, sensory activities, art, and reminiscence programming will engage residents at every stage.

Dementia-Trained Staff

Every team member will receive specialized training in dementia care, communication techniques, and de-escalation.

Individualized Care Plans

Care will be tailored to each resident’s history, preferences, and current stage of cognitive decline.

Safety & Environment

A Secure Space Where Residents Will Thrive

Safety is being built into every part of Arise Well Home. Our memory care homes are being designed with secure entrances, monitored exits, and easy-to-navigate layouts that reduce confusion and help prevent wandering, while still giving residents the freedom to move about comfortably. With only a small number of residents in each home, our dementia-trained caregivers will be able to watch closely, respond quickly, and provide 24/7 support. Medication management, fall prevention, and close coordination with local physicians will give families real peace of mind.

Common Questions

Answers Families Are Looking For

Assisted living is for people who need help with daily tasks like bathing, dressing, and medications but do not need around-the-clock supervision. Memory care is designed for people living with Alzheimer’s or another dementia, with dementia-trained staff, structured routines, specialized activities, and a secure setting. At Arise Well Home, we will offer both, so families can find the level of support that fits.

It may be time when your loved one is no longer safe at home, for example wandering, getting lost, forgetting medications, or leaving the stove on. Growing confusion, changes in mood or behavior, and a family caregiver who is exhausted are also common signs. Talking with your loved one’s doctor and with our team can help you decide on the right next step.

The Alzheimer’s Association suggests visiting several communities, including at mealtimes, and asking how staff are trained in dementia care, how care plans are built, how families are kept informed, and whether indoor and outdoor areas are safe and secure. Ask to see the latest state inspection report once a community is open. We welcome all of these questions as we prepare to open Arise Well Home in spring 2027.

Yes. Family will always be welcome at Arise Well Home, and we will encourage visits, shared meals, and joining in activities. Families will also be invited to help build and review their loved one’s care plan, which the Alzheimer’s Association recommends looking for in any memory care community.

We are still setting our pricing ahead of our planned spring 2027 opening, so please contact us for pricing. For reference, the CareScout (Genworth) 2025 Cost of Care Survey puts the Oklahoma median for assisted living at about $6,045 per month, and memory care usually costs more because of the added supervision and specialized care. Our team will walk you through the options for your loved one.
